How we score

The free check follows the shape of public AI readiness indexes: six areas, a score from 0 to 100, and four bands. Kre8ivTech does not claim those organizations endorse this check.

The score is code

Each scored answer is worth 0, 1, 2, or 3 points, in the order shown on the form. An area score is those points divided by the maximum for that area, then rounded to a whole number from 0 to 100. The overall score is a weighted average of the six area scores. Company size, industry, and role do not change the number. They are there so a written note can mention them. The same answers always produce the same score.

Three fixes

The three lowest area scores each show a fixed fix. When scores tie, the order is security, data, people, tools, strategy, culture. A model does not choose the fixes and does not choose the score.

The note

When Anthropic's Claude API is configured, our server sends the chosen answer ids and asks for one plain-text paragraph. The model has no tools. If the call is unavailable or the paragraph does not match the expected shape, you still see the score and the fixes, with a general note written in our code. The note is shown as text. It is not treated as HTML.
